PR Index
Measure your media coverage effectively, in real time

The PR Index is a unique metric used in media monitoring that evaluates the quality and value of media outputs for your brand. It helps companies understand the real impact of their media mentions, articles and reports.

The core pillars of the PR Index

The PR Index combines several factors – such as article relevance, sentiment, media reach and content quality. This makes it easier to compare media outputs and evaluate the effectiveness of PR activities.

It combines the key parameters of context, visibility and importance into a single score for automatic evaluation of media outputs in NewtonOne Next Generation.

Context

Takes into account sentiment towards the brand – how positively, neutrally, ambivalently or negatively your communication is perceived in the media.

Importance

Expresses the reach of a media output (readership, viewership) and the significance of the medium (its tiering – the medium's position within the market and industry).

Visibility

Measures how prominently and attractively the brand appears in the media. It evaluates, for example, the extent of the information, the presence of an image, placement in the headline and topical relevance.

Built on the foundations of global standards of PR measurement.

The PR Index builds on the Barcelona Principles, which we translated into Czech and introduced to the Czech audience so they could become a cornerstone for measuring communication quality in the regional context as well.
