NEWTON Media Bring Organisation in Line with Global Objectives

Věra Lhotská was appointed as the Managing Director of NEWTON Czech Republic, with effect as of 1 January 2016.

We are growing! The mission NEWTON embraced in the past year is starting to materialise. The Global CEO of NEWTON Media group Petra Mašínová announced the group's entry into international business whilst maintaining the leading position on the Czech market. The company is now bringing the organisation of its top management in line with the new global objectives. Petra Mašínová will dedicate her work full-time to global management and international projects.

The new Managing Director of NEWTON Media Czech Republic is Věra Lhotská.

Petra Mašínová said that NEWTON is ready to work for the global management of big global companies as well as for international institutions: "I am happy to see the NEWTON Media group reaching a stage at which it has all the prerequisites for becoming a competitive media intelligence global market player with a presence in 8 countries. We are building a strong international group based on experienced specialists with long-standing practice in the field. I am confident that we are ready now to stand abreast of the strongest players, such as Kantar Media or Gorkana."

To date, the management of NEWTON's activities in the Czech Republic was the responsibility of Věra Lhotská in her capacity as the Assistant Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Media Analyses of NEWTON Media, a.s. With Věra Lhotská on her new post, NEWTON Media Czech Republic now have a dedicated Managing Director, as is the case in Poland and Slovakia. She says that the main objective of the Czech part of the group for 2016 is to further reinforce its position as a leader on the Czech market. "Over the past year, we committed our efforts to a thorough preparation for the new tasks ahead. We have a solid foundation and we have strengthened our client services. The improved customer care is based on a detailed insight into the customers' needs and the fulfilment of the same. We are preparing our production processes for a major increase in efficiency to improve our responsiveness to our clients' needs. One of our main priorities for this year is the launch of a new platform enabling clients to see relevant data from traditional sources as well as from social networks. This is NEWTON's flexible response to the changing world of media and new technologies."
