NEWTON Media and Socialbakers Sign Major Four-year European Commission Contract for Media Analysis Services
A consortium of NEWTON Media and Socialbakers has been selected to provide the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communication with media analysis services using state-of-the-art technology and methods over the next four years.
NEWTON Media and Socialbakers will place their combined expertise in print, digital, broadcast and social media analysis at the service of the European Commission and affiliate agencies. The consortium partners will support the EC by identifying media coverage relevant to the reputation of the European Union and the EC, and by providing recommendations for future communication actions.
NEWTON Media and Socialbakers will also conduct media analysis services assignments to understand how the European Commission’s policies and activities are perceived by the media, and by different target audiences in EU Member States and non-EU countries. They will also conduct a targeted cross-cutting analysis of the media performance of EC media campaigns and spokespeople.
